What to Expect on Your El Arco Tour

El Arco de Cabo San Lucas is the natural granite arch at the southernmost tip of the Baja California peninsula — the single most photographed landmark in Los Cabos, and the place where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. Our 45-minute cruise brings you right up to it on a fully transparent glass-bottom boat, so you see the rock formation from every angle.

Drift over the color-change line where the Pacific and the Cortez meet and watch the water shift from deep blue to electric turquoise. Through the glass bottom you'll spot tropical fish, rays, and the occasional sea turtle swimming in the shallow-water channels around Land's End and the neighboring rock formations.

We slow down for the photo stop at the arch itself, then ease past Pelican Rock and the sea lion colony — a permanent rookery of California sea lions hauled out on the rocks. Your captain points out the landmarks, keeps everyone safe, and gives you time for the photos you came for. Back at the marina after 45 minutes, with the rest of your day wide open.

El Arco tour — common questions

What's included in the tour?
A transparent glass-bottom 45-minute cruise to El Arco and Land's End, with water and light snacks onboard.
How long is the cruise?
45 minutes from marina departure back to the dock — short enough to fit easily into the rest of your Cabo day.
Where do we depart from?
The Cabo San Lucas marina on the main downtown waterfront. Exact dock and meeting-point details are confirmed by SMS the day before your tour.
How big are the groups?
Max 10 guests per boat, so the cruise stays small, the glass-bottom view stays unobstructed, and everyone has a clear photo angle at the arch.
What's the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour. Inside 24 hours we offer a free reschedule or a refund on a case-by-case basis.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Light wind and overcast skies don't stop the tour. If sea conditions at the arch are unsafe, we reschedule to the next available slot or refund in full.
How likely are we to see wildlife?
Almost certain: the resident California sea lion colony at Land's End is there year-round. Rays and tropical fish through the glass bottom are very common, and sea turtle sightings happen a few times each week.
What should I bring?
Reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a swimsuit or towel. Cameras welcome — we slow at the arch for photos.
